After seeing a friends gomexus knob on his penn reel , i had instant envy it was far more comfortable to hold and play with than the foam one fitted to my slammer 1v 2500 model, ordered a gomexus , impressed with the speedy service and delivery to the UK , promptly fitted and what a joy to use had two 6lb bass on it from the kayak last week .Well pleased

The hexagon shape DID NOT fit into my reel! So, I had to put it on a different reel that I only use as a spare. I would really like to have one that fits. It needs a threaded screw in type. Thanks, I love the handle!

The power knob fit without any issues. Super easy instructions to to put the knob on. Now for my constructive criticism, 1: maybe add instructions on how to take off existing knob so we(customers) don’t have to spend the extra 10 or so minutes figuring it out ourselves. 2:(this isn’t for you gomexus) guys when buying your replacement power knobs don’t follow what others say about the size of the knobs like I did. I got the 35mm because I watched a video and the guy suggested that the 41mm was too big and let me tell you the 35 mm is too small.

This set up with the Gomexus SX450 is my go to reel and jigging outfit. This reel is smooth as silk and the drag is strong and clean and smooth. This will land the biggest of fish and have more to spare. An excellent product. You can see and feel how well made it is right out of the box. I took a chance on a recommendation from a favorite Youtube fishing channel and i couldn't be happier. Purchase one. You wont be disappointed.
